The Hindu culture revolves around attaining complete moksha. In order to provide this we do poojas, yachanas and contribute to culture by performing these rituals from one generation to another. In Hindu science, God is our creation or a stepping stone to attain Mukti. Hence there are millions of gods and hundreds of poojas as a means to attain the ultimate. OM is an App to bring the Pandits and the prospective Jajman’s on the same platform. This would be a platform to make it easier for people to select a Pooja, pick a preferred Pandit and perform Pooja with quality Samagri. This platform would also drive standardizations in consistent user experience leveraging digital platform.
The larger purpose of this initiative is to re-structure the traditional and unorganized community of Pandits in India. Most of the Pandits in India work informally and get paid in cash. Some of the Pandits are employees or government or private sectors and work part time. Some are full time Pandits as well. Either way, they do not have formal income, they hardly file taxes and are deprived of financial support through banks and other institutions.The objective of this initiative is to focus on the wellbeing of this community in India by formally bringing them on this PLATFORM where they not only get regular income but also income that is tracked through banking transactions.
